Three of the five days will be spent with us training your staff team in our premises outside Ballycastle, Co. Antrim. The other two days will see our staff conducting
research on your behalf and providing follow-up support. Clients may bring up to 3 members of staff at no extra cost.
Day 1 will see two of our staff spend 1 half day each researching the eBay market to identify the bestselling items in your product catalogue, the top sellers of those items and the global values of the products sold. We will need you to specify 3 or 4 products you most want researched. We will then analyse the listings of the top rated sellers so that we may advise you as to best sales practice.
The research will be undertaken well in advance of our one-on-one time with your team.
Day 2 will be spent with Darach, our eBay research specialist in Ballycastle. On this day Darach will be able to give you information on what sells best on eBay, for how much and who is selling it. Darach will also be able to give you information on your competitors, where they are located, how much they are selling your product for, how much turnover they are doing and their best selling product lines.
Day 3 will be spent with Megan, our listings’ specialist in Ballycastle. On this day Megan will template your listings to make it faster and easier to list items. She will show you how your listings should look to make them more attractive to buyers, tell you exactly what keywords should be in your title so that you have the best possible chance of being found in a buyers search, teach you how to create complex listings and set pricing points so that you can compete with the top sellers of your product line.
Day 4 will be spent with Michael, our eBay strategy and business development specialist in Ballycastle who will introduce you to the insider tips and business strategies that the most successful eBayers use.
Day 5 may extend over several weeks and offer you 7 hours of email, online and telephone support tailored to your needs based on what you have learned over the previous days.

MHC staff will:
• Undertake online research into whether or not the client’s proposed products are selling successfully on eBay and, if so, identify the volume of sales generated and the average prices realised.
• Research the eBay global market for up to 10 specifically identifiable products selected by the client. An average of 90 minutes research time will be spent per product
A typed report will include:
• Total sales of product over previous 90 days on eBay.co.uk
• Total sales of product for top 3 sellers and the average selling price of each product
• Total sales of the top 3 sellers top 5 listings, including whether or not these figures include postage and packaging charges
• Research can be extended to cover eBay America, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Australia though extra time must be allowed for this

• Produce a typed SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis of client’s recent performance in the eBay marketplace in relation to those products
Suggest changes to the client’s:-
• Titles
• Subtitles
• Photos
• Descriptions
• Pricing structures
• Terms and conditions
• Postage and Packaging
• Returns Policies, etc.
Analysis is designed to boost the client’s chances of sales. Clients are advised that eBay is an extremely fluid marketplace and they should monitor competitors’ behaviour on an ongoing basis

• Links to the 5 best selling items on eBay of each of the 3 competitors
• Produce a typed SWOT analysis for each of the client’s top 3 competitors suggesting tactical approaches to boost chances of sales

• Activate all the functions including search engine optimisation (SEO), tracking devices, reporting tools, automating and personalising functions etc, ensure that they are working and advise on their use
The client will provide us with:
• Keywords for search engine optimisation (SEO)
• Categories for the shop and identify which listings will belong in each category
• Colours to dress shop in etc.

Many eBay store owners do not know how to maximise their store’s functionality to increase sales.
MHC staff will conduct a full overview of client’s eBay store to ensure that:
• All functions have been enabled and are being fully accessed by client
• Search engine optimisation (SEO) features are being used effectively by client
• Tracking devices have been activated and that the client is harvesting the commercial intelligence provided by them to drive the business forward
• Reporting functions have been made operational and are being used by client
• Automated and personalising functions have been enabled and are working
